As an undergraduate, I attended Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin. While
they don't have a major available in museum studies, they do offer a minor.
I went through the program and must say that it was a very valuable
experience. The program requires coursework in museum management,
collections care, art history, and anthropology. It also requires all
students to conduct an internship. The program is also enhanced by two
museums which are located on campus (the Logan Museum of Anthropology and
the Wright Museum of Art). I highly recommend their program; if you have
any questions please feel free to contact me.
