You may want to try one of the Collector Car insurance firms like Hagerty.
Their number is 800 747-5348. I don't know if they do large commercial
vehicles such as your bus, but it's worth a try.

In addition, you could call the American Truck Historical Society at 816
891-9900; they may be able to point you in the right direction.

Subject: Bus Insurance


We have a 1950s bus used to transport workers to work locations on the
Hanford Site. We would like to transform it to a mobile exhibit for local
fairs but the insurance is a big problem. The insurance companies we have
checked with would only allow it to be insured for its original intent,
even though we would remove the seats. The best price on this type of
schedule has been $1500/year which is out of our range. Has anyone else
done this and found a more realistic insurance company?
