We've recently updated our schedule of fees, based more closely on our now
completely digital process . We scan and write to CD a tiff image, then
store on our server a jpg, tied to our database (Inmagic). We scan any photo
requested, and the purchaser has a choice of a print out or us sending the
scan to a photo lab for a professional quality print. Our use fees are a
separate fee, and we determine it based on the run of the publication, which
helps us to not gouge researchers, but make larger publications pay their
way. I recently added a rush charge, since we have a very small staff and
were having a problem with people who waited until the last minute.

I've put our fee schedule online: http://www.nha.org/library/libraryuse.html
