Dear Museum-l friends, I'm posting this for our tours office. Please reply to
Anne directly ([log in to unmask]) or to the list if you think it of interest
to a larger audience. I will forward your
comments to her. Thanks in advance, Lenore Adler

Subj: pricing for groups

We are currently examining the prices that we charge groups to visit both the
Carnegie Museum of Art and the Carnegie Museum of Natural History (which are
both housed in the same complex); and we are interested in the group rates and
group admissions policies at other museums.

Do you offer a group rate? If so, what is it and how does it compare
with the regular admission rate for individuals?

Do you offer docent-led tours? If so, what is the group rate for the
tour? Do you charge more for a tour?

Do you charge a per person rate for groups or do you charge one flat
fee per group? If you charge one flat fee per group, what is that fee
and does it vary according to the size of the group?

Do you require a minimum number per group?

        What is your "comp." policy?

Do you require groups to pay a deposit or prepay for their visit?

I would appreciate any information you can forward to me. My email address is:

Thanks much!
