Dear Colleague,

I want you to know about a two-day workshop for museum professionals who
plan, design, and fabricate exhibits. The opportunity to work and problem
solve with colleagues, people with disabilities, and accessibility
professionals should not be missed.

This Accessible Practices Workshop is co-hosted by the Association of
Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) and the Carnegie Science Center,
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dates are August 23 and 24, 2001.

Teams of two and three people are encouraged to attend this interactive
workshop. Cost is $100 for the first person and $75 each for up to two
additional people. The fee includes parking, lunch, and an
information-packed binder.

To register or to find out more about the workshop, contact Jessica Stricker
at the Carnegie Science Center: 412-237-1806 or [log in to unmask]

This workshop is supported in part by the National Science Foundation. To
learn more about the Accessible Practices Project and other workshop
opportunities, go to the ASTC web site at www.astc.org.

I hope to see you at Carnegie Science Center on August 23-24!

Sally
