Dear Ms. Olsen:
One designer you may find very helpful is Philip Brady of PSB Designs,
Inc. (202) 546-7722, [log in to unmask] He is very interested in historical
projects and completed a big job at the Pamplin Historical Park and Museum
of the Civil War Soldier in Petersburg, Va. He worked on the new Battlefield
Center and Theater. He also does detailing, in case that service is needed.
I worked with him on a job for the Smithsonian Institution Travelling
Exhibit Service and I'll add here that he is a most pleasant and
professional person to work with!
I don't know if he does research himself, but if you provide the
research, be sure you give him as much as you can about each subject. This
will come in especially handy with any visual thing, such as a diorama or a
modern rendering. This will also provide excellent source material for ideas
for stories that will pull in and hold all those troublesome modern people
who care little about history. Best of luck!

Cordially,

Paul N. Pallansch,
Dioramist and Sculptor,
