True.  Last time I was at Second City Comedy in Chicago, they did some
improvisation during which they asked for suggestions for types of workers.
After shouting out "curator," I watched the actor assigned to the part
poorly muddle thru a piece about "hanging paintings" and nothing else.  We
might as well keep our sense of humor.
