Pittsburgh's original Buhl Planetarium and Institute
of Popular Science [1939-1991] did have
regularly-scheduled staff training sessions for first
aid, CPR, use of fire extinguishers, etc. And, of
course, we had a first aid kit readily available for
staff use.

More and more, today, Automated External
Defibrillators [AED] are being found in office
buildings, subway stations, and many other public
areas. An AED should be a part of a museum's or
library's first aid supplies.
