For the past few years, we have been working on digitizing our image
collection on yakimamemory.org. On the site, under the Project, we have
information about our scanner. We scanned glass negatives, negatives,
prints, lantern slide, etc. with wonderful results. The 35mm slides were
always a little blurry. The scanner was in the lid.

I think if I was to do this again, I would just get a separate 35mm slide
scanner. They can be expensive.. But if you shop around...

We scanned the original images at 600dpi and 300dpi. Now we are only doing
300 dpi. 600dpi was too slow to scan, and 300dpi was what publishers wish
for.

Now I am looking at a new Epson scanner. After a few years, our scanner
glass is getting foggy.
