The Smithsonian Institution, National Air and Space Museum is in the
process of recruiting for the Chief of Education Programs at the Stephen F.
Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles International Airport.  The Udvar-Hazy Center
is a new facility due to open in December, 2003 to coincide with the 100th
Anniversary of the Wright Brothers Flight.

Applications must be received in the Office of Human Resources by August 8,
2000.

This is a federal positiion, grade 13 ($60,890-79,155)

Candidates must have:
1.   Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques for planning and
     producing sophisticated education programs for K-12.
2.   Knowledge of the principles and methods for producing informal
     education programs in a museum setting.
3.   Knowledge in the use of telecommunications methods and technology in
attaining educational goals and    objectives
