Hello all!

I hope someone can help me point this gentleman in the right direction. I have just received a call from a gentleman who has done a fair amount of research on his own resulting in several deadends. He acquired a marble statue, about 5' tall of the Greek Goddess Aphrodite back in the 1970's. He has been told by antique dealers this statue is over a 1,000 years old. I have not seen it.

He is looking for an expert in Italian Marble statues dating 1,000 years ago. Can anyone reccommend who he should contact. He is in the central New York/ Northern PA area. Once he finds out more about the statue he may sell it at auction or donate it to a museum for people to enjoy.

Thanks for your help.
