Check out Eilean Hooper-Greenhill's book she edited, THE EDUCATIONAL ROLE OF
THE MUSEUM (Routledge, 1994).  Also, Kevin Moore's work, MUSEUM MANAGEMENT
(Routledge, 1994) that looks at how can museums survive into the
next millennium.   Check out the bibliographies in each of these text.   I
also have a
good bibliography if you need more form my MA thesis.    Lord's also
