Sarah,

I had real problems to cash in a check in US dollars here in Germany. The
bank asked for a fee of about 15DM, so I really can't recommend it. We will
get the EURO in 2002, which should simplify international payments then. But
even when the EURO isn't an official currency yet, all banks accept
transfers in EURO without any additional fee. So if you find a way to
transfer the amount in EURO, it should work.

I can also offer you to give the Koelner Dom Verlag a call tomorrow and ask
for the best form of payment.

Regards from the Rhineland,
