The discussion about how to react to criticism of exhibits
by Catholics has been fascinating.  Does the museum
community's reaction to the question about what to exhibit
change if the requester is Native American and the items we
are asked to remove are, for instance,  pipes and Ghost
Dance shirts which have been on exhibit for many years?  The
request is posed from a religious perspective, with little
explanation.

How should we (museums) react to minority requests not
exhibit certain items?
