Heather: The Royal British Columbia Museum in Victoria, British Columbia
rehoused their collection of fans. The storage boxes that were designed
and built were so functional and attractive that they could easily set up a
temporary study exhibit simply by opening the boxes and arranging the fans
in a case still boxed. A presentation entitled "Moving the Collections at
the Royal British Columbia Museum" by Valeria Thorp and Colleen Wilson is
published in the Preprints of the Contributions to the Ottawa Congress of
the International Institute for Conservation, 12-16 Sept 1994, Preventive
Conservation Practice, Theory, and Research. Richard Kerschner
