On behalf on the Ministry of Finance in Singapore, I would like seek
comments on the funding of museum projects. In particular, we would
like to know whether there are established criteria to evaluate the need
for museums and their associated costs. For example, what target
population should a museum serve, how big should a museum be, how
do we ensure that a museum is efficient, do museums need to be
subsidised? We would be grateful if you could let us have your
comments.
