Dear Dan,

"Museums in Motion: An Introduction to the History and
Functions of Museums" by Edward P. Alexander, has excellent
breif descriptions of each of these museums. I would also
suggest looking up web sites of the different kinds of
museums.
Ex. Indianapolis Children's Museum, Museum of Science and
Industry in Chicago, Madison Children's Museum, The Science
Museum in London.

Sincerely,
Kristen
