Dear Jun,
It seems to me that if you suggested several auction houses and the lender 
freely chose one of them- there is no conflict.  If in the future, you were to 
suggest just the one- knowing of the finder's fee bonus- that would certainly 
be a conflict.
We always try to suggest at least three options to our patrons when they are 
looking for conservators, appraisers, historic architects, framers, etc.  Just my 
2 cents.
