In 1989, Ontario Hist. Soc. had a "Consuming Passions: Eating and
Drinking Traditions in Ontario".  They published the papers presented.
I believe they also had a dinner or food fair along with it.  Dorothy
Duncan (or the staff) at Ont. Hist. can give you more info.  Their
