Gerhard:

Here is my $0.02

The Guggenheim immigrated to Philadelphia at the end of the 19th century. I
can't remember the patriarch's name at the moment; but, he had seven sons.
Two of them were Solomon R. and Daniel. Another was Peggy's father,
Benjamin, who was one of the victims that went down with the Titanic.

There is a book about the Guggenheim Family which starts from the ghettos in
Switzerland to their great wealth and triumphs in the copper, gold and
diamond mining industry in the first half of this century.

The book is called "The Guggenheim's: An American Epic" by John H. Davis. I
believe it's Morrow Publishing.
