Lechelle,

Our membership renewal form includes a list of levels and corresponding
benefits. Overall, I find that most member renew at the same level from
year to year. However, this year I amended the letter to ask that
members consider renewing at a higher level. The numbers have been
low, but some members have increased a level. All we had to do was
ask. I should explain, though, that we are in the middle of a capital
campaign to purchase a new building, which has taken up much of our
fundraising efforts. Our appeal to our membership was that their dues
help support operating costs during this transitional period.
