I don't know how many of those on the list care enough about this subject to
wade through another response of mine. So, with apologies to the list I
e-mailed a private response to Jim Rubinstein.
I will say I have nothing against exhibition evaluators, I wish more people
paid attention to what they say, I am not a curator, I don't oppose change,
I am aware that museums/exhibitions can be artefact free.  My concern is the
future, and the funding, especially in the US,  for art and history museums
that do collect, and whether collections are something that are or should be
considered of value.
