The South Florida Collections Management Center (SFCMC) at Everglades 
National Park has a GS-5 term museum technician position available. The 
term is for 13 months but may be extended up to 4 years. Salary is $29,690 
and the position includes health benefits, annual and sick leave, and 
retirement contributions. This position will assist the Museum Curator 
with museum collection preservation, accessioning, cataloging, inventory, 
environmental monitoring, museum housekeeping, storage upgrades, etc. for 
the museum collections from Big Cypress National Preserve, Biscayne 
National Park, Dry Tortugas National Park, De Soto National Memorial and 
Everglades National Park.
