A correction to Steve Eichner's citation of the number of museums as
15,000.  The source for that number is:

Ellen Riske and Roger Lidman.  Are Museums Associations Ready for the
Year 2000? (Phoenix:  Museum Association of Arizona, 1998), p. 23.

The source is nor the American Association of Museums.
