The Association of Midwest Museums (AMM) Program Committee has evaluated the
first round of over 50 proposals for its conference (theme is "Building the
Museum") in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from November 5-8, 2003. While we feel the
quality and quantity of the proposals were very high, there are several
topics for which we would like to see session submissions. The following
list reflects these areas and specific topics. The deadline for the next
round is March 17.

We are particularly encouraging sessions from our region, which includes
Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana,
but qualified proposals from outside our region will not be refused. (Please
be aware that compensation is not provided for presenters.)

For questions, please contact me (see below) or Beth Shea, AMM Program
co-Chair, at [log in to unmask]

The Call for Proposals can be obtained from me directly or at
www.midwestmusems.org. E-mail and fax submissions are acceptable.

Looking forward to seeing you in November at a great conference on a great
lake!
