Kim, I don't know if this will be helpful to you, but there are some
organizations which provide experience in dance to the disabled. I do not
know of one in your area, but I suspect that there may be one. The
organizations I am aware of are:

Dance Special, Orchard Park, NY
Provides classes and performance experience; adults and children; mainly
retarded and dev delayed

Pacific Dance Center, 7 Kersting Ct. ,Sierra Madre, CA
Classes and large-scale performing

There is a professional dance company in Ohio which has people in wheel
chairs, and people not-can't think of the name.
