The George Meany Memorial Archives presents "INTO THE MARKETPLACE: WORKING-CLASS WOMEN IN 20TH CENTURY HAWAI'I," January 27 - May 30.  The exhibit explores the experiences of a majority of working women as they left rural communities for the urban marketplace.  Sponsored by the Hawai'i Committee for the Humanities, and suported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the exhibit sheds light on the working conditions for women in Hawai'i and the broader implications of such work nationwide.

Exhibit hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Colsed Saturday, Sunday, and holidays.  For directions call 301/431-5451.
