ASSISTANT TO MUSEUM DIRECTOR

We are in search of an experienced administrative assistant for our NYC
museum client.  Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years professional experience
in museum or arts related institution.  Handle correspondence, Director and
guest travel arrangements, scheduling, expense vouchers, and Director’s
special projects.  File, calendar, and mailing list maintenance, assist with
museum special events, and oversee translations for international
correspondence.  Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Raisers Edge required.
Knowledge of Japanese language a plus!  Salary to low $30K plus excellent
benefits.

EXHIBITIONS MANAGER/REGISTRAR

We are seeking an experienced registrar for our museum client in New York
City.   The ideal candidate will have full knowledge of registration methods
for permanent collections, loans, and exhibitions including:  computer
documentation; national and international shipping, transport, and courier
arrangements; condition reporting and management of installation and
de-installation.  4-5 years museum registration experience at the associate
or registrar level required.  Excellent computer and communication skills
essential; supervisory experience preferred.  Salary:  to $50K depending on
experience, and excellent benefits.

NYC MUSEUM DEPUTY DIRECTOR

For our International NYC museum client, we are in search of a deputy
director to serve as “second in command” and support museum Director in all
aspects of exhibition planning, financial management, development,
personnel, and security management.  Ideal candidate will have MBA or M.A in
Art History or Museum Studies and 5 years related experience.  Candidate
will also have demonstrated managerial skills, effective written and oral
communication ability, and extensive experience with budgets and
spreadsheets.  Salary to $65K plus excellent benefits.
