        Discovery 2000 is seeking a full-time craftsman to produce high
quality exhibits within a museum setting.  HS diploma req.  Skills include
woodworking, metal and plastics fabrication, equip. maintenance and ability

        Discovery 2000, Alabama's 21st Century Science Center, is projected
to open in downtown Birmingham in 1997.  The new museum is a result of the
merger of Red Mountain Museum and Discovery Place of Birmingham.  The
planned 300,000 sq. ft. facility will include an Omnimax=81 Theater in
addition to it's exciting hands-on exhibits.
