          Correction:
SOLINET will be offering the 1 & 1/2 day "Disaster Preparedness and
Recovery" on Tuesday-Wednesday, March 28-29. The previous posting
incorrectly stated the days as Thursday-Friday.

          **************DISASTER PREPAREDNESS AND RECOVERY*************
Libraries and archives are vulnerable to a variety of disasters
ranging from fires and flooding to roof leaks and mold outbreaks.
Through lecture, demonstrations, and a hands-on recovery exercise,
this one and a half-day workshop will provide the training
necessary to plan, organize and execute a disaster plan and salvage
          operation.

The instructors for this session are J. Sara Paulk, Assistant
Director/Head Librarian, Tifton County Public Library and Vicki
Stanton, Preservation Librarian, University of North Florida.

This 1 & 1/2 day workshop is scheduled for Tuesday - Wednesday,
          March 28-29, 2000 from 9am-4pm Day 1 and 9am-12pm Day 2 at
University of North Florida, Jacksonville, FL.

Cost is $135 SOLINET members ($125 early bird, $160 late
registration); $175 Non-SOLINET members and FEDLINK ($165 early
bird, $200 late registration). Any institution within Florida
          qualifies for the member rate.
