By accident I exited my mail before finishing my last posting.  I just wanted
to add that, while I do not agree with all that has been said about the
high/low art/graffiti etc. issue, I think we need to be aware of both sides
of the coin.  Promoting masters is problematic but I am aware, as I have
already said, that having no criteria can also be dangerous.  While it is
true that in the real world we make judgements all of the time  I still do
not agree with the judgement of high and low art.
