I am reaching out those of you who work with science exhibits and hoping
you may point me in the right direction.  We are developing tours of the
High Energy Physics Lab located within our historic mine at our site.
This is a bit out of the ordinary for us, as we normally focus on mining
history.

I would like to develop a display that measures cosmic radiation on the
earth's surface, and a duplicate to put in our lab ½ mile below the
surface.  Geiger counters won't work as they don't discriminate between
background and cosmic radiation.  The physicists involved in the project
tell me there is a display of this type at Stanford, but was wondering
if any of you have this sort of display (without the ½ mile underground
of course), or if you could point me toward someone who could possibly
fabricate such a display.  Of course, like most of you, cost is a
factor.  Thanks in advance for your assistance
