On Monday evening, December 12, at 9:00 P.M., ET, the National Museum of
American Art, Smithsonian Institution, is hosting "Caring for Your
Collection: Photographs", a real-time chat on America Online. The guest
speaker will be photo conservator, Sarah Wagner.
 
Wagner received her photograph and paoer conservation training t the
University of Delaware/Winterthr Art Conservation Program, where she was
granted an MS in Art Conservation in 1989. Since then she has worked at
the Library of Congress and National Archives, in addition to operating
a small private conservation business part time. Professional activities
include being the current chair of the Photographic Materials Group of
the American Institute for Conservation and a member of photographic
standards committees of the American National Standards Institute. She
is a frequent contributor to "Views" and "Infinity", newsletters of the
Society of American Archivists Visual Materials Section and Preservation
Section, respectively.
