Greetings All!

A golden opportunity for Museum Marketers and PR folks is the forthcoming
ICOM conference in Vienna. See
http://museumsnett.no/icommpr/html-files/conferences/programme.htm for ICOM
MPR's marketing and PR programme.

I note that "Branding museums" is a key note presentation by Carol Scott
Carol Scott, who is the Manager of Evaluation and Audience Research at the
Powerhouse Museum and the immediate past president of Museums Australia, the
national professional association for museums and galleries.

While ICOM MPR has a strong European connection but there are also a couple
of interesting papers from Asian colleagues.

It is well worth joining this group as they have annual conferences in very
interesting locations. See
http://museumsnett.no/icommpr/html-files/conferences/previous-list.htm .

As a former Chair of this body I can assure you that these annual gatherings
are most productive and a lot of fun!

Lena Millinger is the Secretary of ICOM MPR. Her contact details are as
