Dear Dr Evans

I have just received a plea from someone called John Watson (Presumably
Sherlock Holmes is out on a case) asking about RAF museums and online
services.

The e-mail

Subject: RAF Museums

        Hi John
I have visited the RAF museum which is just outside London. Do you know
if they have an internet address ? I am also interested in any other museums or
military archives in the UK that I can access via the Internet ? My family
was born and raised in Scotland, and I am searching for info on various
regiments which my family belonged to and fought in. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
Do you play any wargames...i.e. Steel Panthers ?
                                Scotty in Montreal

You can reply directly to me at: [log in to unmask]

                Thanks!... John.

I believe that your very useful and kind e-mail to me would be also of
immense value to him. I could simply forward it to him, but as your e-mail
was a personal note to me, I feel that it would be more proper if you
contacted him directly, if you would wish to.

I am enclosing your letter, to save you re-typing it.

You note to me was of immense use and I have ordered a complete set of Bob
Ogden's guides. Thank you very much for your help.

Very best wishes

John Howes
