Dear list,
We will be installing some kiosks in an upcoming exhibition. One of them
will be browser-based and work via a touch screen. I would like to know
whether the following applications are possible and where they may be
obtained:

1. an application that restricts browser access to nominated sites pertinent
to the exhibition. This would be preferable to expending limited resources
downloading continual updates from the web to the kiosk's hard disk.

2. an input application that allows users to sign and view a virtual
guestbook. This will be on a touch screen so something is needed that will
'plug into' a browser and work from a touch screen: a virtual keyboard
perhaps.

Has anyone had experience with these issues? If so we would be glad to hear
from you.

regards
Andrew Rankine
