Records Administrator - 6 month Fixed Term

Working with the Records Management team, you will assist with the
implementation of records management systems in paper based and electronic
format.

Your ability to establish excellent working relationships is essential.   An
understanding of the bicultural nature of Te Papa and an appreciation of
matauranga would be an advantage.   If you have excellent customer services
skills, are methodical, organised and enjoy working as part of a team then
we would like to hear from you.

Key responsibilities will include assisting with the development and
maintenance of a comprehensive records management system covering all Te
Papa's current and inactive records in both paper-based and electronic
formats.   You will also work with staff in establishing efficient &
effective work practices to enable them to manage and access their records
and electronic documents.

It's essential that you have a high level of computer literacy with
Microsoft word and database programmes and also a high level of
communication skills.
