What temperature / humidity levels will require that I install a
dehumidifier in our museum? It's a small museum located on the second
floor of an early 19th century house (drafty in the winter, hot in the
summer, and the windows are sealed shut).

I (the untrained volunteer curator) have to spend some grant money in the
next few weeks so I don't have time to test the humidity levels over the
course of a season but anecdotally the second floor gets "stuffy" in the
summer. We won't have funds to do anything elaborate in the way of
climate control so
I'd appreciate any advice for minimizing the damage with what we have
(how would you spend $400?). Total museum space is less than 700 sq.
feet. We have seen a small amount of mold on leather objects.

Thanks for any help!
