This whole thread confuses me.  After having been to both places, the
Museum of Art and the Cloisters, I'd have to say that there are
facilities that would accommodate the restroom needs of the individual
in question at no cost directly across from the Museum of Art. Why
would you go out there just to go potty?  Obviously, this was a ploy
to see if free admission could be acquired.

And as for the Cloisters, it's way the heck out there from
civilization.  In fact, it's back away behind a park.  It would seem
to me the only reason somebody would go out there is to see the art,
not to crap on it.

Sorry, but I am sensing this is someone who feels it's their God-given
right to enjoy something for nothing instead of paying some nominal
sum for the upkeep and maintenance of the facilities and staff that
serve to maintain the works.

Do you challenge parking meters on public curbs and pay toilets at gas
stations?  Until you take on those, I say pay your way!
