We are currently using VISTA as a ticketing and reservations system, and it
offers quite a nice integrated package.

It has a sub system for inventory items (though it is not designed for
actual gift shop sales or reporting), tracks zipcodes and other basic survey
information.

It may be too much ($ or features!) for your needs, but please email me
directly if you have any other questions.

Subject: admission ticket, fee systems

I would appreciate any recommendations on sources for POS systems, cash
registers, etc to collect entrance fees and track those entering under a
membership card, track zip codes, etc. May also need a sustem for a gift
shop.
I don't need a system that can handle ticketing for later entry times or
similar sophistication. So if anyone has done this via an off the shelf
software package, I would like to know!
