I agree with all the above posts on interviewing and hiring.  My husband and
I are wanting to move out west--especially to Oklahoma.  Yet I am constantly
asked the question, "Why would you want to move so far away?" (all my
previous positions have been in my home state of Illinois).  I always assure
them that I have thought very carefully about the move and I am serious
about the position.

Another questions that I always seem to get is, "What does your husband
think about moving?  As a life-long feminist this questions always bothers
me, although I try not to show it.

Since I have also been on the hiring end of this thread, I would like to add
that a thank you note after the interview goes a long way to getting you the
job you've applied for.  Many people just don't take the time but I can tell
you that it always makes a good impression
