announce our Summer 1999 preservation workshop schedule:

appropriate for digital conversion? How will digital files be
maintained? Who is responsible for ensuring future access to this
digital information? Is future access necessary? Through lecture,
discussion and case studies participants will gain the tools needed to
make informed decisions about imaging project planning.

The instructors are Faye Phillips, Assistant Dean of Libraries for
Special Collections, and Charles Thomas, Archivist, both of Louisiana
