Can anyone tell me anything of the "Royal Naval Museum, Haslar" -
including where Haslar is?? It had a collection of plants which went to
the British Museum in 1855. Some of the collection (though there is no
indication what it was) was also acquired by John Calvert (1825-1897).
Calvert is not known to have been a collector of plants, so perhaps the
Haslar Museum collection had other things? ANy ideas anyone?
