The Research and Education Program at the Center for American
Archeology has a full-time opening for a Museum Education Specialist.
The individual in this position will work with other education staff in
many of our diverse programs.  The Museum Education Specialist will play
an important role in curriculum development, instruct a wide variety of
students (kindergartners to adults) and work with our ongoing Museum in
the Classroom project, an innovative museum education program that links
public schools and museums through the use of computer technology.
        Qualifications include a background in Archeology with a minimum
education level of at least a bachelor's degree, master's degree
preferred.  Excellent writing and communication skills are essential, as
is an interest in public programming.  Academic training or experience
in Education is beneficial.  Starting date is September 1 (flexible).
