The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose is looking for a Manager of
Exhibit Projects to oversee the development and production of 3 exhibitions
on the topics of genetics, internet, and chip design.
The Manager of Exhibit Projects is a full-time exempt position reporting to
the Senior Director of Programs and Exhibits. It is funded May 1, 2003
through January 15, 2005. We are open to out-of-state candidates (and we're

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide project management leadership for the creation and implementation of
permanent and traveling exhibitions. Set up and lead cross-department
project teams including exhibit developers, designers, engineers, educators,
marketing, industry sponsors, volunteers, outside contractors. Manage the
Exhibit Projects team, including Sr. Exhibit Projects Coordinator and other
staff or consultants conducting project management. Manage the
cross-departmental decision making-process for temporary exhibit selection.
Research, identify, and secure traveling exhibitions. Create and manage
schedules, budgets and contracts for all major exhibit projects.
