Hi Lydia!

We have used several sources for our custom crating needs. You will
need to work out the measurements & any specific packing design needs
you want met. Make up a list of local carpenters who do custom work,
present them with your needs & request a bid & recommendations
(viewing a sample of their work is useful). Or, perhaps your local
shipping agent can help. If we tell them what we want, the lowest
cost & best built crates we have obtained have been put together by a
local freight company with whom we do business.

"Museum Registration Methods" published by AAM has a good section on
crate building that might be useful to you.

Good Luck,
