Stolen Beauty: A Seminar/Workshop on Art Theft - May 12, 2001

This daylong program addresses the complex legal, artistic, and social issues involved in
art theft, including the follow-up and management of its consequences. Bringing together
lawyers, journalists, federal and local law enforcement officials, museum curators, as well
as art dealers, this program considers common criminal art theft, past and present wartime
theft, and Third World patrimonial theft.
