As a museum visitor I would recommend that you look at the programs
of the "Higgins Armory Museum" in Worcester,MA. When I lived in New
Haven, CT I visited frequently and often wished I lived closer so I
could take advantage of many of their outreach programs. I had an
opportunity to see their progress over several years, and they
definitely worked hard at developing good programs that would appeal
to a wide audience.
