I'll second what Laura said.  I just finished a successful job search,
and used a 3-page resume that covered everything my experience,
education, publications, speaking engagments, conferences, awards, and
references.  I also created a Federal resume, and that was 4 pages.  As
my career moves forward I expect that my CV will grow accordingly.  To
be honest, a 1-page resume often sells a candidate short, and in the
museum/history profession a CV-type document is often the better way to
go.  Hope this helps.
