hi everyone.

i'm hoping that soem art experts might be able to lead me in a few
direcitons. i'm working on my thesis, whihc focuses on seventeenth
and eighteenth century clay tobacco pipes. anyway, i've been going
through some of the libraries art books looking for art which depcits clay
tobacco pipes in use, everyday life, etc. i've foudn quite a bit for
seventeenth century dutch paintings, but i've had little luck with finding
british material. does anyone know of a few publications taht might focus
on seventeenth and eighteenth century british art where the theme is
everyday life, etc and might be a good source for finding pictures of clay
tobacco pipes. i'm sure that there is something out there, but so far,
now luck. any advice woudl be appreciated...i have absolutely no
xperience in artwork, as you can probably tell!!!

thanks
adrienne
